Tailgate Pad Attachment Plates

Since magnets do not stick to aluminum, these plates can be easily attached to your tailgate so you can use the Tribe tailgate pad as intended.  They can also be used for trucks that have plastic bed-liners or if you just want an extra layer in between the pad and your truck.

There are three pieces.  The long one attaches to the outside of your tailgate with small strips of 3M automobile tape.   It's made for cars and can be removed, yet it's strong enough to hold the plate in place as you add and remove the pad.  Simply remove the tape backing, line up and push the plate on.  That's it.  The two square plates attach to the rear of the tailgate with two small screws (included) or the 3M tape, also included.   Once the plates are attached you can simply add and remove your tailgate pad.
